Online model release form you can sign on your phone
A model release form is the written permission a person gives when you photograph or film them and want to use the result. My Consent.me lets you build one in a few steps, have it signed on a phone or laptop, and download a PDF for your records.
Build your form freeWhy photographers, videographers and creators need a release
Taking a good photo is only half the job. If you plan to publish it on a website, in a portfolio, in an ad or on social media, the person in it should agree to that in writing. A signed release shows who agreed, to what use, and when. It protects the creator, and it gives the person pictured clarity about how their image will be used.
Many shoots happen fast: a street portrait, a brand shoot, a music video day, a friend who agreed on the spot. The problem is that paper forms get lost, and photographed signatures are messy. A digital release you can fill in right there on the shoot keeps things tidy and takes minutes.
How the Content Release form works in My Consent.me
Choose the Content Release form from the start screen. The form builder walks you through the details one step at a time: who the parties are, what content is covered, and the terms that apply. When you finish you get a review screen where you can check every answer and edit anything that is wrong before moving on.
Next comes the full agreement text, built from your answers, followed by the signature step. The signer draws a signature with a finger or a mouse and picks the date. When everyone has signed, you can preview the document and download it as a PDF to keep or share.
The tool is built for phones as well as desktops, so the person being photographed can sign on your device or on their own. You do not need an account to build and sign a form.
Sending the release to someone else to sign
If the other person is not with you, sign in and send the agreement for signature. They receive a link, open it in their browser and sign without installing anything. Multi-party signing and email invitations are part of the paid Creator plan and above; the Free plan covers basic consent forms with single-signer workflows.
What to think about before you shoot
Be specific about use. A release for portfolio use is different from one that allows paid advertising. Say whether the content may be edited, how long the permission lasts, and whether the person is paid. If the person is under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian generally needs to sign instead. Rules differ by country and state, so for anything high-stakes, have a lawyer review your wording. My Consent.me provides form tooling, not legal advice.
Languages
The interface is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Thai, which helps on shoots where the model and the photographer do not share a first language.
