Create and sign a non-disclosure agreement online
A non-disclosure agreement, or NDA, is a short contract in which one or more parties agree to keep certain information private. My Consent.me includes an NDA form you fill in step by step, sign digitally and save as a PDF.
Build your form freeWho uses an NDA
Freelancers share unreleased work with clients. Small studios show prototypes to partners. Producers send tracks, scripts or product designs to collaborators before launch. In each case, a signed NDA sets out what counts as confidential, what the receiving party may do with it and how long the duty lasts. It does not make secrets impossible to leak, but it creates a clear, documented expectation.
Many people skip it because drafting one feels heavy. A guided form lowers the barrier: you answer questions instead of staring at a blank page.
Using the NDA form
Pick NDA on the start screen. The builder asks for the parties and the key terms, then shows a review screen so you can verify and edit your answers. The agreement is then assembled and presented for signature. Each party draws a signature and sets the date, and the finished document can be previewed and downloaded as a PDF.
You can start without an account. If the other party is remote, sign in and send the document for signature: they receive a link and sign in their browser. Multi-party signing and email invitations come with the Creator plan and above.
One-way or mutual?
A one-way NDA protects one party that is disclosing information. A mutual NDA protects both sides when each shares something sensitive. Think about which describes your situation before you start, and describe the information precisely rather than saying everything is confidential.
Limits to keep in mind
An NDA is only as good as its terms and the law where it is enforced. Some information is commonly excluded, such as things already public. For high-value deals, ask a lawyer to review the wording. My Consent.me is a form tool and does not give legal advice.
Teams and agencies
The Team plan adds a shared workspace, team templates and bulk invitations, which helps when many people need to sign the same NDA before a project begins.
Frequently asked questions
Can I sign an NDA with a finger on my phone?
Yes. The signature step supports drawing with a finger or mouse.
Is an electronic signature acceptable?
In many places electronic signatures are recognised for ordinary agreements, but rules vary. Check the requirements for your location and contract type.
Can I send the NDA to someone else?
Yes, with an account. They receive a link and sign in their browser.
Can I edit the wording?
You edit your answers on the review screen. The Custom Agreement option exists for situations that need different wording.
